Ryde Lake Camp - Family Camp
Family/Friends Camping is held for a few weeks each August.
Campers live in a style that could be called comfortably rustic. No room service, no TV or computer . . . but we do have fresh air, peace and quiet, misty mornings, starry nights, call of the loon, chattering squirrels, twinkling fireflies and blueberries on Old Baldy. You can be as active or relaxed as you wish. Mealtimes are the only scheduled activities.
Swim, hike, canoe, kayak, paddleboat, or just relax on the dock.
Accommodation is in our camper/staff cabins. Meals are served camp-style in the dining hall.
Facilities include a spacious dining hall, comfort station with flush toilets and showers, dormitory-style camper cabins (sleep 8), and two additional cabins (Infirmary and Ryde House) which feature separate bedrooms (two beds/room), common sitting area, and indoor toilets.
Campers supply their own bedding.
